Profiles

A Profile is a named, saved filter — a status (overdue / due soon / all) plus optional label / area / device filters — that you define once and reuse across Home Keeper. Create and manage them in Settings → Profiles.

Use cases. "'The dog', 'upstairs', 'my chores' — define each chore-set once and point every list at it." "My partner and I each save a Profile filtered to our own label, and reuse it on our phones and our dashboards."

The same Profile drives filtering in three places:

  • Notifications — a notification points at a Profile to decide which tasks it pushes (see below). Two profiles with different labels = two people's lists.
  • The admin task list — the Profile dropdown on the Tasks tab narrows the panel list to a saved Profile's tasks.
  • The dashboard card — the card editor's Filter by profile picker points a card at a Profile instead of re-specifying the same filter inline.
